New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on Sunday introduced a new set of proposals to boost the state’s winter tourism industry.
He announced that New York will offer a free snowmobiling weekend — March 14 and 15 — for all out-of-state snowmobilers.
He made the announcement in the Adirondacks, where, he says unemployment has been cut in half since the state started funding tourism-related projects.
Cuomo says snowmobiling brings in nearly 900-million dollars to the state every year.
