The Rochester-area man who threatened to kill Senator Chuck Schumer and Congressman Adam Schiff will spend six months in federal prison.
57-year-old Salvatore Lippa II, who was upset about impeachment proceedings against the president, called Schiff’s Washington office and left a voice mail saying he would put a bullet in his forehead if the congressman ever went to New York.
A couple of weeks later he called Schumer’s Albany office saying someone wanted to assassinate the senator he would be the getaway driver.
