In October, the PLCB announced they would be waiving fees for retail licenses held by restaurants, distributors, club, catering clubs and hotel licenses. Yesterday they announced that they have extended that waiver to include breweries, wineries and distilleries. Board Chairman Tim Holden said they realized that Pennsylvania beverage alcohol producers also struggled during the pandemic and so they made the decision to extend the waiver to include them as well. The decision was made because many of them allow on-site tastings, which has obviously been impacted by COVID-19.
