A fugitive from Ohio has been arrested in connection to a shooting Tuesday in Bradford.
28-year-old James Williams III of Erie is charged for having a gun he’s not allowed to have, but not the actual shooting.
Court papers say at 11:11 a.m. police conducted a traffic stop and discovered the driver had been shot. During the ensuing investigation they learned that Williams was involved and got a search warrant for the home on Hillside Avenue where the assault happened, and then learned that Williams was in possession of the gun, a Glock 48 9 mm handgun. Police found Williams hiding in a crawl space at the home.
Williams is in McKean County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for January 13 in front of District Judge Dominic Cercone.
The investigation into the shooting is continuing.
I wonder what else they’d find should they search crawl spaces throughout many a building in Bradford? Probably a good deal of illegal substances as well.
Unbelievable. Another sack of whale dung. Send him to the chair and be done with it. The citizens of Bradford need to wake up and start cleaning this whole trashy mess up. Or it will get much worse.
