Charges were bound for the alleged gunman in May’s shooting on Congress Street.
29-year-old Frederick Camejo appeared before Judge Dominic Cercone Wednesday afternoon for a preliminary hearing. It was revealed that the argument that ended in the shooting came about because the victim, Edward Fomby Jr. of Buffalo, allegedly insulting Camejo’s wife.
Video and audio were presented from a Ring Doorbell recorder, and Bradford Police Chief Mike Ward testified that on the 911 call, Camejo could allegedly be heard saying “you’re dead now” followed by an expletive.
Camejo remains in McKean County Jail without bail.
He could have simply given the infamous Will Smith b!x@# slap and avoided these charges. Definitely not cultured man.
Wow seems like some democratic reporting. Noone states Edward was a drug dealer and high and drunk at the time, got his pistols taken by his friend Tay and then proceeded to scream I’m gonna kill everyone in your house and that old bitch next door too. But it’s okay. Andy must not have learned real reporting in school.
We reported what was said in the hearing. When it goes to trial we will be reporting on what the defense has to say as well.
