The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford officially cut the ribbon unveiling the new George B. Duke Engineering and Information Technologies Building on Friday.
Those who spoke at the unveiling ceremony included Pitt-Bradford President Richard Esch, Senator Chris Dush, Representative Martin Causer, Director of American Refining Group Dr. Matt Kropf and Owner of Zippo manufacturing and the building’s namesake George Duke.
The New Engineering and Technologies building includes a machine shop, labs for computers, electronics, virtual reality, fluid mechanics and more as well as project rooms and four general classrooms on the second floor.
