The Nationwide manhunt for a Jamestown man has come to a close.
34 year old Michael Burham was taken into custody in Berkeley County South Carolina around 5:15 pm. Burham was arrested following a sighting of him in Huger, SC on Tuesday, a few miles from there he left an elderly Sheffield couple on Tuesday. According to reports, officers made contact with Burham in the woods on Tuesday, he gave them a false name and took off running, police pursued but Burham was able to get away, leaving behind a backpack which confirmed his identity.
Burham was wanted for questioning following the May 11th homicide of Kala Hodgkin, as well as warrants for a vehicle fire and rape.
