The name of the woman who allegedly shot the Cameron County District Attorney has been released.
31 year old Porice Diamond Mincy of Emporium was taken into custody and remanded to the Cameron County Jail without bail. According to the Pennsylvania State Police, Mincy allegedly shot District Attorney Paul J. Malizia at his office in Emporium around 3 PM Wednesday. DA Malizia was treated for non-life threatening injuries and has since been released from the hospital in stable condition.
Mincy is being charged with aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, criminal mischief, firearms without a license, possession an instrument of a crime with intent and defiant trespass. Mincy is scheduled to appear for her preliminary hearing on June 22nd.
