WESB News has learned that the teen charged in the July 16th fatal crash was out on bail on drug charges at the time of the incident.
According to a court docket, 19-year-old Darian Ramdin was free on $500.00 unsecured bail awaiting arraignment on a charge of Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver when he was pulled over by Pennsylvania State Troopers for not dimming his headlights at the intersection of Bolivar Drive and East Main Street. Ramdin allegedly fled from the scene prompting a high speed chase which ended when he lost control and struck a tree and utility pole.
You can see the docket sheets below.
21-year-old Wallace Easton was airlifted to UPMC Hamot where he succumbed to injuries from the accident on July 24th.
Ramdin is currently in McKean County Jail in lieu of $350,000 bail for charges connected to the chase and accident.
Not only drug charges. Felony drug charges. He was given $500 Unsecured Bail. Must be nice to have the city wrapped around your thumb coming from a drug family. Look who let him out on the dockets.
BAIL STILL SEEMS LOW FOR ACCIDENT RESULTING IN DEATH SINCE HE CAUGHT THESE CHARGES OUT ON UNSECURE BAIL
