New details have been released about the high-speed chase an Ellicottville man led law enforcement on from Bradford into New York State.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, shortly after one in the morning on January 2nd, troopers attempted to stop 64-year-old Patrick Fuhr at the intersection of Main and High Streets in Bradford for multiple traffic violations.
Fuhr allegedly fled from the troopers and led them on a 22 mile chase at speeds in excess of 120 miles per hour. At one point during the chase, Fuhr rammed his vehicle into the driver’s door of the pursuing cruiser.
The chase ended in the town of Carrolton when New York law enforcement deployed spike strips against Fuhr’s vehicle.
Fuhr was extradited back to Pennsylvania and is in McKean County Jail without bail.
