The National Weather Serice’s Heat Advisory for North Central Pennsylvania has been extended.
Heat index values up to 100 degrees are now expected to last until 8PM Saturday night.
The heat may be life-threatening to the elderly and those in poor health, due to prolonged exposure without air conditioning.
