For the first time in over 30 years, Bradford has a KFC location.
The ribbon-cutting was held this morning to mark the grand opening, and rain didn’t stop a crowd of Bradford residents from gathering before the doors officially opened, hoping to be one of the first 50 in-store customers to get a certificate for a free chicken combo every week for a year.
Mary Ackerman, general manager of this franchise, said that they’re “super happy to be back.” According to Lori Byers, Senior Director of Openings for KBP Foods, this location is referred to as “Bradford 2,” to reference KFC’s return to the area.
The new KFC is at 119 W. Washington St.
