The St. Bonaventure University softball team fell to Canisius, 16-8, in non-conference action on the road Thursday afternoon in the first game of a twin bill.
But the Bonnies will return home to make their 2025 home debut Saturday, March 22 when they host George Mason. The three-game series gets underway at 12:00 p.m. Saturday with a doubleheader.
At the plate, Karena Recrosio leads the Bonnies with a .396 batting average, ranking fifth in the Atlantic 10. Recrosio has collected 19 hits, including four doubles and a triple while scoring 12 runs.
Kendall Stull leads the Bonnies in the circle with a 5.32 ERA, striking out 14 and registering a pair of saves.
Mackenzie Frani has picked up three wins in the circle for the Brown and White, striking out a team-high 21 batters in 29.1 innings of work.
