A Bradford man plead guilty in federal court in a child pornography case Wednesday.
26-year-old Dylan C. Irvin pleaded guilty to receipt of child pornography, which carries a mandatory minimum penalty of five years in prison and a maximum of 20 years.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Aaron J. Mango stated that sometime in July of 2023, Irvin allegedly engaged in sexual activity with a 13-year-old girl, used his cell phone to record it and then received the video on a Snapchat account.
On March 5, 2024, Irvin was arrested on state charges and his cell phone was seized. A search of the phone recovered the video of Irvin and the victim.
Sentencing for Irvin is scheduled for May 28.
