Boone Jenner scored the go-ahead goal on the power play 6:42 into the third period, helping the Columbus Blue Jackets to a 3-2 comeback victory over the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday night.
Rasmus Dahlin and John-Jason Peterka each had goals for the Sabres. Goaltender James Reimer finished with 27 saves. Buffalo, which will miss the playoffs for the 14th straight year, has lost only twice in its last 10 games.
The Sabres now travel to Florida to face the Panthers on Saturday night.
