A Salamanca man was arrested for allegedly injuring sheriff’s deputies.
The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reports that 38-year-old Brian Johnson was arrested Tuesday and charged with felony assault, as well as misdemeanor criminal mischief, resisting arrest, and obstruction of governmental administration. They claim that when deputies attempted to arrest Johnson for a reported parole violation, he used force against them and caused injuries.
Johnson was transported to the Cattaraugus County Jail and held pending further court proceedings.
