A Jamestown man was sentenced Thursday after he admitted to the manslaughter of a baby in the Chautauqua Supreme Court.
28-year-old Matthew Nuttall pleaded guilty in February to first-degree manslaughter for causing the death of 16-month-old Isaac Benton in April 2024.
Nuttall threw the baby into a playpen which crushed the baby’s spine. Nuttall was sentenced to 15 years in prison and 5 years of post-release supervision.
