Olean Temporarily Restricts Public Access to Lincoln Park Gazebo & Pavillion

Olean Mayor Amy B. Sherburne imposed a temporary restriction of public access to the gazebo and pavilion areas of Lincoln Park on Monday.

This is due to the increased reports of “unsafe and unsanitary activities” in the area.

The restriction will remain in place until “the underlying public-health and safety concerns have been adequately addressed and continued restriction is no longer reasonably necessary.”

The rest of the park will remain available for lawful public use.
