After the fourth week of jury selection, an order from the federal judge in the TOPS mass shooter case says that the jury will be partially sequestered.
Payton Gendron is already serving a life sentence after pleading guilty to mass murder for the racially motivated mass shooting at the Jefferson Avenue Tops in Buffalo back in 2022.
Jurors will remain together during recesses, eat lunch as a group inside the courthouse and the U.S. Marshals will escort jurors to and from court each day.
