The Republican candidate for Governor was in McKean County Wednesday.
State Senator Doug Mastriano stopped at the Smethport Fire Hall for a meet and greet as part of a five-county bus trip. During the event, Mastriano said energy producers could expect a major change in policy after he takes office.
“On day one, we’re out of the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative. On day one, we’re going to drill and dig like we’ve never done before.”
Mastriano also criticized his opponent’s characterization of him.
“We hear from Josh Shapiro that I’m a danger to democracy — the same democracy I was willing to lay my life on the line for for thirty years.”
State Representative Martin Causer attended the event and told WESB News he was happy to support Mastriano’s campaign.
“We’ve endured eight years of Governor Wolf and all of his liberal radical policies. And I firmly believe that Senator Mastriano will be able to turn that ship.”
He is a traitor
It was an incredible rally. I can’t wait until Nov, 8 to give him my vote! He will bring back our liberties, defend out constitution, take the indoctrination out of the schools and away from our children, not to mention the ways he will make Pennsylvania prosper financially.
Doug4Gov!!!
i think this idiot would destroy our commonwealth and democracy i vote hands down to him and all of his bullshit.
Good Luck Mastriano. We need new leadership as Shapirio is just like Wolfe and Biden. You have our vote. Not proud of the mess Bidens group has the United States in with crime, economy in shambles, covid shut downs, 5 million illegals with all this fentenal killing our children and all the lieing they and the media have done to discredit good Americans like you.
