A Kane woman is accused of changing a prescription for Percocet. Court records indicate that 36 year-old Bonnie Eschrich tried to get her prescription filled at Tops in Kane on June 26 but, her insurance denied the refill because she tried to fill it too soon. She then went to SMP Pharmacy with a forged copy of her prescription , but it had been changed from 5mg to 7.5mg of Percocet. The pharmacy noticed the alteration to the prescription and contacted police. Eschrich is free on bail.
