19 people are facing charges after an investigation into a large scale fentanyl and methamphetamine distribution ring in the Jamestown area.
On Wednesday afternoon, members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Narcotics Investigators, and Ellicott Police Department executed search warrants at two locations in Jamestown and one in Falconer, resulting in the seizure of fentanyl, methamphetamine, weapons, drug paraphernalia, and cash.

On 12/7/22 at about 1:40 pm a narcotics investigation into a large scale fentanyl and methamphetamine distribution ring resulted in members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Narcotics Investigators, and Ellicott Police Department executing several search warrants. The first search warrant was executed at 628 Spring St. in the City of Jamestown. The Jamestown Police Department SWAT Team made entry into the residence and located several individuals inside. Detectives searched the residence and located a quantity of fentanyl and methamphetamine along with packaging materials Wilfredo Castrillo, Teresa Davis, Rachel Kalb, Carlos Gonzalez, Warren Dinkins, and Craig Vanhook were all placed under arrest and transported to the Jamestown City Jail where they were charged with 2 counts Criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th. Wilfredo Castrillo was wanted by parole for being an absconder. He was held on the parole warrant. The rest of the individuals were released with appearance tickets.
The second search warrant was executed at 252 W. Main St. in Falconer, NY. Entry into the residence was gained by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s SWAT Team. There were three individuals located inside the home. A search of the residence revealed over 40 grams of fentanyl, over 16 grams of methamphetamine, scales, packaging materials, cutting agents, a 9mm pistol that was previously reported stolen from the Village of Lakewood, a large capacity ammunition feeding device and $1,800.00 in cash. As a result, Zaid Mendoza and Cora Waddington were charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd, Criminal Possession of a weapon 3rd, Criminal possession of stolen property 4th, Criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd and Criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd. Huntyr Swanson was also located inside, but she was only charged with Criminal possession of a Controlled substance 7th. They were all transported to CAP arraignment in Mayville, NY where they were held until arraignment for the Town of Ellicott Court.
A third search warrant was executed at 15 W. Cowden Pl., lower apartment, in the City of Jamestown. The Jamestown Police Department SWAT Team made entry into the residence and located ten people inside. A search of the residence revealed 67.1 grams of fentanyl, 3 grams of methamphetamine, $1,140.00 cash, scales, and packaging materials. Dwayne Lowery, Alvin Jusino, Delbert Clark, Melissa Catherman, Kimberly Brandow, Izena Rhone, Russell Sims, Scott Wynn, Patricia Curry and Robin Miller were all placed under arrest and transported to the city jail where they were held pending their arraignment before a Jamestown City Court Judge. They were all charged with 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a controlled substance 3rd, Criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, and criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd . Delbert Clark was charged with an extra count of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd as he had an additional 4.2 grams of fentanyl secreted on his person when he went to jail. Russell Sims was taken into custody for his outstanding warrants as he was on the Jamestown Police Department Top 10 list of wanted individuals. Scott Wynn also had a warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody and held on that charge.
The Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force was assisted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators, Jamestown Police SWAT Team, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department SWAT Team, Town of Ellicott Police Department, Jamestown Police Patrol Division, Dunkirk Police Department, Jamestown Police K-9, and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department K-9, and Jamestown Fire Department.
