The Boston Red Sox dumped the Yankees Monday night 4-3. David Ortiz hit his 495th home run and Jackie Bradley Jr.had three hits and threw out a runner at the plate to pace the Red Sox. Mookie Betts added a two-run shot for the Red Sox who won for the ninth time in their last 13 games. Didi Gregorius had four singles for New York who stranded 14 runners in the loss. The Yankees remain 1 1/2 games behind AL East-leading Toronto, which lost to the Indians 4-2.
