The Bills have placed defensive lineman Alex Carrington on season ending injured reserve. ESPN reports that Carrington tore a quad tendon and had surgery Monday to repair it. Carrington had replaced Mario Williams who had missed the game with a foot injury. The Bills also released linebacker AJ Tarpley, who struggled in the loss to the Chiefs, after replacing Nigel Bradham who is out this coming Sunday with an injury.
