UPDATED 2:10 PM 9/15 Confirming fatality and identifying victim
A Louisiana man was killed in a car-pedestrian collision on Forman Street Thursday Night.
According to the City of Bradford Police, 84-year-old Jesse Meridith, who had reportedly been staying at the Holiday Inn Express, had been struck by a vehicle. EMS arrived to find Meredith laying in the middle of the road. They provided care but Meredith succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
