A Bradford County man is behind bars in New York State after an incident of arson at the Tioga Downs racetrack and casino.
According to the New York State Police, 32-year-old Boyd Fenton of Athens, PA, entered the barn and intentionally set a fire, causing thousands of dollars’ worth of damage and causing the death of over two dozen racehorses.
One person who entered the burning barn in an attempt to save horses suffered second degree burns and was transported to Robert Packer Hospital for treatment.
Fenton was arraigned and remanded to the Tioga County Correctional Facility.
That scum bag should be tied up in a barn and set fire to and he could feel what those beautiful horses went through there is no reason to do that to any animal
How sick and cruel can anyone be. To deliberately kill beautiful innocent horses for a cheap thrill. I pray you receive a life sentence for the unthinkable act.
