A Salamanca man was charged with a firearm felony after a domestic incident on Saturday morning.
Deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office charged 42-year-old Jason M. McGraw with felony Criminal Possession of a Weapon, felony Use of a Firearm, felony Reckless Endangerment, Menacing and Use of a Dangerous Weapon.
The charges stem from an incident on Erie Street where McGraw allegedly shot off 4 rounds from a rifle near a victim’s head and proceeded to break a neighbor’s window with a whiskey bottle.
He was released under supervision and is due in the Town of Salamanca Court at a later date.
How is it this guy was released “under supervision”? And what does that even mean? Three violent felonies and he is given an appearance ticket. I’m sure his victim feels safe enough.
