The World War II Museum in Eldred is presenting a Christmas program about World War I.
Although there was no official truce, during the days leading up to Christmas of 1914 French, British and German soldiers crossed the trenches to exchange food, sing carols, or just mingle.
A program at 7 p.m. Thursday at the museum will look into the Christmas Truce.
Wartime Christmas cards will be on display and the museum will have Christmas cookies and hot cider for guests.
