The shooting death of 63-year-old Thomas Krivonyak in Cameron County back in January has been ruled self-defense and no charges will be filed against the alleged shooter.
The investigation of the incident by Pennsylvania State Police revealed that Krivonyak’s landlord and another person served him with an eviction notice, at which time Krivonyak became violent and assaulted the landlord’s companion, where he was shot twice.
As a result of the investigation, the DA’s office and the Pennsylvania State Police determined there was insufficient evidence to file any charges against the shooter, whose name has not been released since the shooting was justified.
Does insufficient evidence mean that the shooting was justified. Where was Thomas Krivonyak’s witness ? So we are allowed to take the law into our own hands if we have the witnesses to lie for us ??? C’mon. Even Arson and Burglary doesn’t require that you be placed at the scene of the crime. There just needs to be circumstantial evidence to put a person in the area. Then the Pennsylvania State Police can SHOP FOR A FIRE MARSHAL TO RULE an accidental fire as arson. Clearly, Mr. Krivonyak was not important, rich or know important people, as his landlord and friend obviously did.
