Olean Woman Arrested on Drug Charges After Traffic Stop Monday

An Olean woman was arrested on multiple drug charges after a traffic stop on North 15^th St. early this morning.

Deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office charged 42-year-old Katie L. Melaro with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, two counts of use of Drug Paraphernalia and multiple traffic violations.

The charges stem from deputies allegedly discovering fentanyl, Acetaminophen, Hydrocodone, packaging materials, a scale, and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia.

Melaro is due in the City of Olean Court at a later date for further proceedings.
