A woman, who was employed at the Save-A-Lot in Kane, is accused of stealing money from the grocery store after she called police and reported an armed robbery. Police say that 30 year-old Michelle Lesnick, while working as a cashier at the store, told them a man with a gun demanded that she give him all the big bills in her drawer. Later a witness, who was with Lesnick, told police that she had more money she should and may have been involved in taking money from the grocery store. Lesnick is charged with receiving stolen property and making a false statement. She is in the McKean County jail on $5,000 bail.
