Pitt has given head football coach Pat Narduzzi a new seven year contract. Narduzzi had four years left on the old one. Narduzzi was hired in 2014 after an eight-year run as Michigan State’s defensive coordinator. Yahoo Sports says Narduzzi’s deal also includes salary bumps for his assistants. The 51 year-old Narduzzi is 21-17 in his three years at Pitt, including victories against eventual national champion Clemson and Big Ten champ Penn State in 2016 and ACC Coastal winner Miami this season.
