The 2018-19 St. Bonaventure basketball season is one step closer as the Atlantic 10 revealed next season’s conference pairings Wednesday afternoon.
Along with the announced pairings comes two new home-and-home partners for the upcoming year as the Bonnies will play Fordham and George Mason twice. St. Bonaventure will again play Davidson, Duquesne and Saint Joseph’s in home-and-home series just as in last season’s schedule.
For the fifth consecutive season, all A-10 members will play an 18-game conference schedule – nine home and nine away. In addition to its five home-and-away partners, the Bonnies will welcome Dayton, La Salle, Saint Louis and VCU to the Reilly Center. Bona will travel to away games at George Washington, UMass, Rhode Island and Richmond.
Dates, times and national television information for all A-10 games will be announced at a later date. Non-televised games will be available through the ESPN+ platform.
On paper, the Bonnies home schedule is an appealing one for area fans. St. Bonaventure will play host to perennial A-10 contenders Dayton and VCU as well as an up-and-coming Saint Louis team which will visit Western New York for the fourth straight year while La Salle returns to SBU for the first time since 2016-17. The Bonnies will also continue what has become an entertaining rivalry with defending A-10 champion Davidson in the first meeting in The RC since last year’s triple overtime classic along with regional rivals Duquesne and Fordham as well as a Saint Joseph’s squad Bona split with a year ago.
The 2019 Atlantic 10 Men’s Basketball Championship will be played March 13-17 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
St. Bonaventure men’s basketball season tickets are now available by visiting www.GoBonnies.com/Tickets or calling the SBU Ticket Office at (716) 375-2500.
