The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford baseball team came up short in both contests against Mount Aloysius in the team’s home and Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opener Sunday.
The Panthers fell in the series opener 13-3 then mounted a late comeback in game two but lost 8-7.
Logan Edmonds started for the Panthers in game 2 and delivered 6.2 innings of work while striking out six. And Tyler Hoops led the way for the Panthers with three hits, two runs a double and an RBI.
Up next, Pitt-Bradford will resume AMCC action as it hosts Alfred State at the Kessel Athletics Complex.
