A Randolph man was arrested after allegedly wielding a “gun” and pretending to be a cop.
Deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Department charged 27-year-old Daniel J. Villa with menacing, obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest and criminal impersonation.
The charges stem from Villa allegedly walking around Main Street in Randolph appearing to brandish a “handgun” which was discovered to be a CO2 Pellet Gun.
Villa was released on an appearance ticket and scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
