Two Allegany women were arrested after a traffic stop in Olean Sunday night.
Deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office arrested 59-year-old Candy L. Leon and 25-year-old Destiny D. Shoup following a traffic stop on N 12th St.
Leon had an active arrest warrant for Petit Larceny out of Olean City Court and Shoup had two active bench warrants out of Olean City Court.
Leon was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance after she was allegedly found in possession of Fentanyl.
Leon was turned over to the Olean Police Department and Shoup was transported directly to the Cattaraugus County Jail where she will be held awaiting further Olean City Court Proceedings.
